Jenny Lang
Jenny is a midwestern girl who grew up just outside Minneapolis, Minnesota. As the youngest of eight children, with one paternal half-sister, five brothers and a sister, she was raised by a mother who exuded strong faith and unconditional love. It was this that was instilled into Jenny’s life and helped her overcome her own darkness.
Even in her humble beginnings, Jenny had a fighter inside of her. She wanted to “buck the system” of other’s beliefs in all she did. In doing so, she overcame the labels of not being smart by graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Her 20-plus year corporate career expands across real estate, mortgage lending, and retail, including Best Buy, Corp. Determination, perseverance, work ethic, and passion created a perfect formula for achievements throughout that career. That high energy also came with a price. Years of pushing created years of illness and severe anxiety, which came to a point where she needed to reevaluate her priorities, thus putting her on a mission to heal her mind, body, and soul.
In discovering her own healing, as well as her infant son’s health diagnosis, in 2013 she went back to school to become a health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
She graduated with her first certification in July 2014, and through divine intervention, she was encouraged to bring her wellness knowledge to Best Buy through the creation of an employee wellness group she started, which was a non-paid position. Her passion for healing, coupled with her understanding of stress, overwhelm and business career demands, paved the way to creating the largest membership in a Focused Inclusion Network for the company, hitting 1,000 members by the time she resigned in 2021. This group still exists today and since then, she has also received her National Board Certification for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBC-HWC), and created her private practice, Libra Health Coaching LLC.
Jenny’s mission is to support, inspire and encourage others who feel overwhelmed and disconnected from their true self. Her programs illustrate that health changes don’t need to be complicated or “fit a mold”, and a healthy mindset is the secret to lasting healing.
