You do not need to be a professional writer. If you have a powerful story and a genuine desire to share it, this opportunity may be a great fit.
What kind of story are you looking for?
Each chapter should focus on one clear moment of awakening — the moment your “blinders came off.”
This could be a realization, a turning point, a spiritual experience, a breakdown that became a breakthrough, or a moment where you suddenly saw your life differently.
We are not looking for your entire life story — just the moment that changed everything.
What if I’m not sure my story is “big enough”?
Many powerful awakening moments are quiet and deeply personal.
You do not need a dramatic life event for your story to matter. Often the most impactful stories are the moments when something suddenly became clear and changed the way you see yourself or your life.
If your story created a shift in you, it may very well create a shift in someone else reading it.
How long should my chapter be?
Each chapter will be approximately 2500 words to ensure the book flows well and every author’s story can be fully experienced by readers.
Do I need writing experience?
No.
Many collaboration authors are publishing their first story. The writing accountability sessions and editorial support are designed to help you craft a clear and compelling chapter.
What happens after I am selected?
If selected, you will participate in the 4-week writing accountability container, submit your completed chapter, and join the Marketing & Media Momentum training to prepare for the book launch and visibility opportunities.
Will I be a published author?
Yes.
All selected contributors will be published authors in Blinders Off – Real Stories of Awakening, professionally published by Raven + Grace Press and distributed through IngramSpark.
Will the book be available in bookstores?
Yes.
Distribution through IngramSpark enables the book to be available through major retailers including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and independent bookstores nationwide.
Do authors receive royalties?
All net proceeds from book sales will be donated to a shared charitable cause chosen collectively by the authors.

Can I still participate if I’m working on another book?
Yes.
