Elizabeth Moss

Elizabeth Moss founded Caregivers by WholeCare in 1997 to fulfill a growing need for compassionate home care for seniors and disabled adults in Middle Tennessee. 

Elizabeth has been at the forefront of improving in-home caregiving to help adults age in the comfort of their own home. And is a devoted and professional caregiver in the areas of Assessment Training, Licensed Practical Nurse of Geriatrics and Integrative Health Practices such as Aromatherapy and all modes of therapeutic care. She is dedicated to ongoing training, education and experience for the wellbeing of others. Her credentials and related praise are more than impressive; they are reassuring when you need to trust your loved one’s life in someone else’s care. WholeCare received many awards over the course of her leadership:  Best of Home Care – Employer of Choice Award by Home Care Pulse, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021. A finalist in the Nashville Business Journal’s 2021 Best in Business Award and earned the 2020 Health Care Award uniquely and specifically created in 2020. Elizabeth was recognized as a 2019 Most Admired CEO and the 2019 Women of Influence by the Nashville Business Journal. She was the recipient of NAWBO’s Celebrating Women of Music City Emerging Business Leader Award in 2015 and a 2013 ATHENA Award nominee. And was nominated for the NAWBO Woman Business Owner of the Year Award in 2002. 

Other organizations that she is a member of and currently serving a role: AgeWell Middle TN on the Legislative and Advocacy Committee, Membership Chair for NAWBO Nashville (National Association of Women Business Owners), EO Nashville, a Global Entrepreneurial Organization, serving as the Women of EO Champion for the Nashville Chapter. 

Elizabeth continually seeks ways to give back to women, and aspiring women entrepreneurs. In 2017, she participated in a women’s entrepreneurship panel sharing her expertise with 18 foreign journalists on behalf of the U.S. Department of State’s visit to Nashville. She has participated in the Women in Business Mentorship Program at Vanderbilt University several times. 

Elizabeth exited WholeCare in 2020 and is now focused on an app, CareCrown that she envisioned to automate and create proactive and engaging processes for attracting, recruiting, and retaining professional caregivers. This newest entrepreneurship endeavor was founded in 2019. CareCrown is an app that automates the motivation, incentivizes, and rewards professional caregivers.
