Verena Kansog is a certified health and life coach with a bachelor’s of science in Health and Wellness from Purdue University and training from the Health Coach Institute (HCI). Specializing in aiding individuals affected by bullying, Verena’s empathetic approach helps them rebuild self-worth and confidence. Her coaching has transformed many lives, enabling clients to overcome past traumas and embrace a positive future.
Verena is also a passionate hemp advocate and educator, promoting its health benefits through education, workshops, and writing. She works to dispel myths and encourage the acceptance of hemp as a natural remedy.
In addition to coaching and advocacy, Verena is an experienced paramedic and adjunct professor at Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC), specializing in electrocardiogram (EKG) and Phlebotomy. Drawing from 35 years of emergency medical service experience, she empowers students with practical knowledge and skills.
Currently, Verena serves as the Advanced Life Support Coordinator for Lower Manhattan with the New York Fire Department. Her previous roles include positions at New York Downtown Hospital and NY Presbyterian Hospital. As a veteran who served 10 years as a Sergeant with the U.S. Army, Verena’s diverse experiences and unwavering dedication to service continue to inspire those around her.
